Over the Garden Wall Review

For the second week of Spooktober, I watched the Cartoon Network original mini-series, Over the Garden Wall. Over the Garden Wall is a horror fairy tale about two boys, Greg and Wirt, who are lost in the woods. They go on adventures and meet interesting, and sometimes creepy, creatures. Each episode follows them through the woods to different towns and areas, making every episode work as a stand alone product and a part of a series.

This show has two major plots running throughout it. One, the boys need to get home, and Two, there is a "Beast" after them. The first plot is what drives the story, and the second one is what makes it interesting. Everything about the "Beast" is completely unknown and this makes the whole character very scary. The "Beast" is the main scary part in the story, and it works very well.
